SALTY DUCK

This little gem was a real challenge, a block built converted garage overlooking the Gannel Estuary in Newquay, Cornwall. The aim was to create a cosy holiday let that would have all you would need for a break in Cornwall. We chose a white kitchen with shelves for the glass, china and plants. The bathroom is also white and black, clean and sophisticated. Waistcoat and Badger interiors chose an off white base palette to provide a light and bright interior as a background for lots of textures such as leather, wicker and slate. We chose linens that are crisp and white for the king size bed, cushions with textures for the large window seat and lighting that will give a warm glow through winter evenings. In addition we built an outside patio area to admire the view with some floral cushions for extra comfort.
